Dr Kay Weijers (Doctor of Coaching and Mentoring), has joined Praestamus as our first associate coach and coach supervisor. Kay brings a wealth of knowledge and coaching experience to the team and is already making an impact with learners studying towards their Chartered Management Institute (CMI) “Management of Coaching and Mentoring” qualification. As a doctoral graduate from Oxford Brookes University, Kay studied under the guidance and supervision of two worldwide renowned coaching academic doyennes: Professor Elaine Cox and Professor Tatiana Bachkirova. Her thesis covered coaches’ experiences of peak moments, incorporating peak experience, peak performance and flow. A new book on peak experience, co-authored with Professor Cox is due for release in 2023. A professional musician in her early career, Kay was privileged to study under Sir James Galway and played abroad and in the UK but now lives a more settled life in Spalding, Lincolnshire. It is a great privilege to welcome Kay to Praestamus team.
